07:14 AM ET 09.02 | With one week to go until the start of the season the Bears moved closer to adding a player coach Lovie Smith said he wanted back in February. Defensive tackle Amobi Okoye was brought in for a physical Saturday and parameters on a one-year contract for $700,000 plus incentives were in place, according to a source. He reportedly completed the deal but the Bears have yet to announce it one day after the Buccaneers finalized an injury settlement with him.

Interesting. A few years ago, this kid was the hot commodity. Now, he's begging for one year deals.

Ho hum.

I betcha the weekend interns are clicking on the thumbnail on a page of pictures instead of going to the full picture and then inserting that. That's why the pictures are fuzzy.

The pictures are fuzzy, right? It's not just my usual Sunday morning fog?

Oddly enough I had not noticed, probably because I rarely bother to look at the pics here (I just assume it's gonna be Rex's s-eating grin), but you are correct. They are fuzzy. And about as useful as the usual offerings from the interns.

I think Fuzzy Graphics was in the same dorm as me in college. I can't quite picture him, though.

Best use for Apples. Allow to age so the meat becomes a consistant light brown color. Add 20% by volume raw organic sugar. Blend to an even but grainy consistancy. Boil @ 250 degrees F for ten minutes. Allow to cool to room temprature. Add 1/2% - 1% by volume of brewers yeast. Seal with a stainless steel pressure relief valve and allow to sit for ten to fourteen days in a temprature controlled environment. Remove pressure relief valve attach coil condenser in ice water bath and fractionally distill @ 142 - 145 degrees F until flow decreases. Chill and serve over ice. Ahhhh, homade apple brandi. Also good served over French Vannilla ice cream.

FN has downgraded their subscription with Getty Images in an effort to reduce graphic loading times.

Less conflict with the high-definition videos...

Beauty is that you can use the same recipe on bananas, peaches, apricots, etc. Make a few modifications and it can be used on corn, rye or other grains. A tried and true method, used for hundreds of years. You can even use it to fix Windows. Just consume it in larger and larger quantities until you're homeless and don't have electricity. Without electricity Microsoft works fine. You can throw it at small animals rendering them unconscious and ready for the stew pot. If you want the recipe for hobo stew just ask.
