Kinder CBA won't help Maple Leafs

Duh!

It wouldn't matter if they removed the salary cap altogether. The Leafs are able to spend well north of $100 million dollars annually on salaries, the Front Office has never been willing to go all-out for a championship. Their profits are re-invested in real estate developments and acquisitions.

And the chants continue - 19- 67! 19-67!

(Sigh)

Nothing will hep the Leafs, they have no owner and therefore no direction.........and they have Burke!!

OK so they have an explanation for the last 7 years. What have they got to say about the 38 years before that?

Many years ago, they started to have tributes for WW I vets as their number dwindled down and one of them would pass away. Now we have none left. Then they began doing the same thing for WW II vets as fewer and fewer of them remain alive. I fully expect the Leafs to embrace the practice any day now with the survivors of that '67 team. Pretty soon, there will come a time when we will have no Cup winning Leaf walking this Earth.

I really believe that another team in the GTA would be the best thing for the Leafs ..
