Stephon Marbury mysteriously sat out last night's win over the Pistons with an alleged sore left ankle, prompting Isiah Thomas to question Marbury's future with the club.

Fire the coach, blow up the team, and Charles Dolan should sell the franchise before his incompetent son (James: you're incompetent) destroys the most valuable basketball franchise in the world.

What freaking moral ground does isiah have to 'question' anybody's future?? The man has single handedly destroyed a premier club into a mocking stock of the league. And he's talking about a player's future?

Isiah should be kicked out of the HOF.

Why I can't believe is how this guy's name keeps creeping up on the news, nobody shouldn't pay attention to what he says anymore, trash.

January 14, 2008  09:56 AM ET

Question Marbury's future? Everyone else his questioning Thomas's future!

January 14, 2008  10:28 AM ET

I question the fact that somebody would actually report this..Both of these guys have no future!

January 14, 2008  12:37 PM ET

i've been questioning him since he left Garnet in Minnesota...

January 14, 2008  12:52 PM ET

Not to worry. Marbury is due $42M over the next 2 years. Isiah isn't going to realease him, and nobody is going to assume his contract in a trade. Marbury is a Knick. PERIOD

January 14, 2008  01:32 PM ET

Looks like it's time to cut their losses while they have the chance. Get rid of them BOTH!

January 14, 2008  01:34 PM ET

Oh how quickly Isiah has turned on one of the cornerstones of his new Knicks franchise. First move he made was to get Marbury. His PG.

Look at Isiah and Marbury now. Couldn't be farther apart as far as opinions of themselves, but both going in the same direction. Into the toilet.

Farbury's a joke...just like his $15 sneakers. I used to defend this guy, but i can't even say anything good about him nowaday. Luck for me I HATE THE KNICKS. Ha ha...

Well, I for one don't like the Knicks but I can't say I hate them...
Really, It amazes me that anyone can actually hate this team..This team is so utterly patheric, that you have to at least feel a little sorry for the fans

January 14, 2008  03:29 PM ET

Isiah and Stephon need to worry about their present and not their future. Both of them should be on the first thing out of NY but unfortunately...

Kdawg: What do you expect from Isiah? He has turned on Marbury, Richardson, Curry, Randolph, Robinson and just about every other acquisition he has made.

January 14, 2008  05:27 PM ET

they should merge with the celtics to form an average team

January 14, 2008  08:35 PM ET

I actually saw a guy wearing a Marbury jersey the other day. What kind of person wears a jersey of the lamest guy on the lamest team in the NBA?

It would appear the Marbury does have one fan, at least.

January 14, 2008  10:24 PM ET

Heck i still see Vick jersey's on people!!! Marbury's can't be worse

January 15, 2008  02:32 AM ET

Anybody wearing a Marbury jersey is probably homeless. That's all he's got. Certainly no sane person would wear one under normal circumstances. Then again, maybe you saw Liontut or Jimmyphins
