Bulls: Thumbs down on Noah

06:25 AM ET 01.14 | In a stunning move, Bulls players voted to increase Joakim Noah's discipline for verbally abusing assistant coach Ron Adams at Friday's morning shootaround in Philadelphia, forcing the rookie to miss Sunday's 105-84 loss to the Hawks. Several Bulls, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the vote was unanimous. A shellshocked Noah, who, according to sources, snapped when Adams kept riding him for forgetting plays, paused several times to compose himself while discussing his teammates' decision to urge coaches to sit him for one more game.

bulls are awesome on and off the court this season haha

Bench Ben Wallace for not producing anyting as well. Noah maybe a locker room issue, but get him some minutes to see what he has. Atleast they'll know to invest anymore time on him or not. The season is a bust anyway.

Noah should be benched for that ridiculous puffy ponytail! (Yeah---real tough looking!)

January 14, 2008  08:44 AM ET

Tough to go from one of the best in college to one of the guys in the NBA.

Underscores just how much better talents like Byrd and Magic really are......

I've heard his Dad is a great tennis pro so maybe he could just quit basketball and be a senior tour commentator. Yes?

January 14, 2008  08:56 AM ET

Bird and Magic actually had talent. Noah is a pretty boy role player just like he was in college.

Noah sucks anyway. all he did in college was take the ball coast to coast once a game and do the gator clap after he got fouled. Not only does he suck, but he has become a distraction.

January 14, 2008  09:19 AM ET

What did he say to his coach, anybody know? Must have told him to go fk himself.

Which would be extremely difficult to actually do. Not unless he gets a rib removed.

Your a Rookie . . . .how can you snap at anyone? Your not a star, you dont' even start. Who cares what you did in college . . .you weren't even the best player on yoru team in collge. Now you see that just because your the player doesn't mean you can talk back to the coaches. They are riding you to teach you something that you are obviously not getting. People get yelled at all the times by their boss, if we yelled back at them we would be gone. Deal with it ya punk!

This is highly amusing. That should send a message to Noah to shut his mouth. He's a rook, he's got no room to say anything. That might work in college, but you are playing with MEN now.

Welcome to the NBA.

His hair gets in his way of playing well.

Overrated.

Needs to shut up and learn his place.

I think it was fine for the coaching staff to keep Noah inactive for the game against the Sixers. But to drag this thing on for another game, getting the players invloved with a team vote was a stupid move. If the team wanted to suspend Noah for two games then fine, but having the player vote Noah out the game was just a desperate move by the coaching staff.

Good for the veteranbs on this team to try to gain control...Now if they could do something about Noah's cavity creeps, I'd really be impressed....

January 14, 2008  11:17 AM ET

Doesn't one have to actually be pretty in order to be called a pretty boy?

January 14, 2008  11:22 AM ET

Rookie mistakes Word was he was constantly late, and then showed up with attitude. Maybe this will take him down a notch.

January 14, 2008  12:36 PM ET

thats good maybe they should treat all rookies or sophmores....like that....they can learn a thing or two....not give them everything like the heading of King when you havent done anything in this grown man game
