08:23 AM ET 09.03 | While it wasn't exactly what we saw from the Red Sox dugout over the weekend, Matt Barkley and Marqise Lee did air some grievances. After an incomplete pass in the second quarter, Lee gestured to Barkley to throw the ball a little higher. After another incompletion in the third quarter, Barkley yelled at Lee for running the wrong route. Trouble between Trojans? Not so, according to USC coach Lane Kiffin. "You're dealing with two top-five picks in the draft, phenomenal players who are very competitive," Kiffin said during his weekly teleconference Sunday night. "They want to complete every ball. I think that's a good thing." Kiffin noted that Barkley threw for almost 400 yards and Lee gained almost 200 receiving, yet "they're not satisfied."

Maybe they should let Lee try to throw it with guys trying to tear his head off. And let Barkely try to catch one that isn't close while a DB is bearing down on him. Maybe both would shut up then.

"'according to USC coach Lane Kiffin. "You're dealing with two top-five picks in the draft ..."'

No, you're dealing with the #1 overall pick and some other guy who benefits from it.

Yep....could be just the opposite at OU with LJ. We'll see this year how good he is and if the UTEP game was just a case of first game sloppiness...

Guy running the wrong route is a whole lot more serious than the ball not being high enough

Barkley's a diva, but still a Heisman frontrunner. One candiate that I think can be eliminated for consideration: Shoelace.

After this past week, he's done.

Look for Geno Smith, he gettin mucho media luv

Wide receivers are a dime a dozen and they don't normally go in the top 5 of the draft. Kiffin should just shut up.
