08:17 AM ET 09.04 | Considering it's the offseason, Dwyane Wade will be pretty easy to find this week. Dwyane Wade is about to hit New York like a cyclone with the start of his book tour. "A Father First: How my life became bigger than basketball" will be released Tuesday, which also is when the Miami Heat's All-Star guard will storm Manhattan. From Letterman to Calvin Klein, from ESPN to CNN, Wade is about to enter a whirlwind week that culminates with three South Florida book signings this coming weekend. ... Wade will continue on a signing tour that will take him through Atlanta, Chicago, Milwaukee, Los Angeles and culminating with a Sept. 22 signing in Washington at "Politics and Prose", one week before the Heat opening training camp Sept. 29.

The tour was supposed to be when he got home from the Olympics but had to reschedule because he hadn't finished coloring all the pages in time.

This book sounds full of BS...like he's the first father to win custody of his kids? Really. This is book worthy? <shakes head>. Oh..and it's going to be 'expensive' raising 2 sons? Really? really Wade?

I'll pass.....

Interesting comments by people who haven't read the book or even seen it.

one day, I will tell a shameful story to my kids that their father's first comment on SI is about Dwyane Wade's book about how impregnating his son's mother eventually made his life bigger than basketball

he is one of the best dads insports and for you guys who bash athletes who do negative things daily or bicker and complain etc, for you to bash this guy who is setting a positive example for his fans and even those who may not understand the duties of being a father and the pride and responsibility behind it, is pretty pathetic.
