Cards running out of chances to keep Fitzgerald

Like Adrian Peterson another top talent going to waste.

They better hope Skelton molds into the player they hope he can be soon or he's a goner LOL!!

Following in the footsteps of Barry Sanders, great player wasting a career with a second rate team.

I could only imagine the competition to get this guy if he hit the free agency.

It will be interesting to see if he goes for a legitimate Superbowl team or the team that offers him the most money.

If he turns down a lot of dollars to play for a ring, then we will see how much heart he has.

And it wouldn't surprise me at all if he does just that.

Not sure. Wasn't the Megatron deal negotiated under the old cap rules? The new cap puts tighter limits on what they can do.

He signed an 8-year deal in 2011. It will be a few more seasons of futility in the desert before Fitz tries to leave. And if he does, I hope Fitz and the Cards handle their business far away from the media.

There would be "Megatron Money", "Fitz Money", followed by all the players that think they deserve that kind of money.

At some point, Fitz would probably like to play with an NFL caliber QB again.

Fitzgerald is a good wide out on a bad team, but no one force him to sign that extension with the Cards knowing they are not going anywhere soon. Another wide out on a bad team Mr Tx who I think is better than Fitzgerald is Calvin Johnson.

To me, this guy has the best hands in football. I think the Cardinals will trade him before they let him walk.

Larry Fitzgerald=Ernie Banks. Except, Larry Fitzgerald did get to play in a superbowl. Lots of great players never did.

Detroit is a better team than Arizona, though. They have legitimate playoff hopes. Arizona will be lucky to break .500 this year.

I wouldn't classify Detroit as a bad team. I think their HC is a nutjob but they have a good qb and some good defensive players and have a legitimate shot at a playoff spot. The Cardinals have NO chance.
