08:25 AM ET 09.07 | In Week 1, Oklahoma State "edged" Savannah State in Stillwater, 84-0, in a game that was 35-0 after the first quarter. There was a serious question as to whether or not Oklahoma State could hit 100 points. This week life doesn't get much easier for Savannah State, as it picks itself up off the turf and heads to Tallahassee where another severe beating awaits at the hands of Florida State. There is good news for Savannah State, however, as the Tigers make the trip knowing that they have made college football history. The Tigers are the biggest underdog in college football history. ... The largest spread in college football history before this week came in 2007 when Hawaii was a 60-point favorite over Northern Colorado.

How about that Okie St defense. Put me in for $30 on Savannah St to beat the spread.

Don't worry about Savannah State. Since Ok State put up 84 on Savannah State then Oklahoma will try not to put up anything less than 84 against FAMU Saturday. Oh well let the thrash for cash continue.

Years a go, I went to see FAMU play VA Tech. In the 4h quarter we got to their goal line and they put their starting defense back in the game. We should have gone for a fiild goal but hey we didn't. Final score 62 - 0. Because of rivalries, Oklahoma is more inclined to run up the score on us because if we score the the Sooner fans will be on the call in shows saying I can't believe we didn't pitch a shut out like OK State.

These games are for three reasons- tune up for the big school, a win to help get bowl eligible, and help the small schools make a big pay day that will fund their whole athletic program for the entire season.

Then what was Murray St last week?
This didn't work for OSU last week, they needed to get reps for their true fresh qb, but after going 11 for 11 and up by 28 in 1st qtr, he was yanked. He only played 20 plays. 2nd string was yanked after another 25 plays.
