10:17 AM ET 09.09 | Is it possible Roberto Luongo is coming early for a summit meeting with GM Mike Gillis to try to move his situation forward? No. Luongo, when reached in Florida via text message, said his earlier-than-usual trip to Vancouver is not about a sit-down with Canucks brass. "Changing it up this year," Luongo quipped when asked about the early arrival. "Trying to see if it will give me a better start."

"Trying to see if it will give me a better start."

How difficult is it to sit on the bench wearing a ball cap?

Knowing Luongo he's going to have to work at it to get it right.

If he could deny a puck or two in huge games he would not be in this situation

Enough already! I am a huge Canuck fan and a Lou fan. Don't hold it against me:)
At this point, I am ready to dump my season tickets and give my Lou jersey away. I have zero faith in the NHL caring about the fans. And, the way the Canucks have handled their strategy around Lou has been shocking. What ever! I

I don't know enough about the situation up in Vancouver to speak about it, but it seems to me as a hockey fan we have more to worry about than that? After Saturday there may not even be hockey to think about. Both sides of the argument don't give a damn about us. They all just want to line their pockets at our expense. I do understand that to a point it's just business, but without us they don't exist at all. Maybe it time we come up with a way to let them know that we are fed up with this crap from both of them. How many young men and young boys would give their eye teeth to play in the NHL for 1/10 of what they are paid now?
