Good point, USC needs to focus on Stanford this weekend at Stanford Stadium!!! Nothing they can do about the polls, except win every week.

I believe this helped Pete Carrol out the door more than anything else. If USC had one loss they were magically out of the title game but a SEC Big 10 school like Florida could loose one game to Ole Miss or even LSU with 2 losses and thanks to polling find themselves in the BCS title game.

If you guys expect other teams to drop when they don't look impressive, why don't you think USC should drop when they don't look impressive?

I luv how UF beats a very mediocre atm team and moves up 6 spots and Ark loses to ULM and drops the same number that Mich dropped for losing to bama.

When you say "I could care less", it literally means that you care by some sort of amount, so you could care less than you currently do. Either SI screwed up the quote (not unlikely) or Kiffin is an idiot (more likely). If he doesn't care, it should be "I couldn't care less."

USC did drop in the polls this week!!!

If it makes him feel better, Alabama was ranked number 3 last year after four weeks. The only reason any coach cares right now is for recruiting purposes I suppose and alumni/Booster luncheons.

We all know SEC deserves spots 1-7!

You know if he were coaching at Tenn his team would be number 1!
