Frazier on thin ice at Auburn?

08:21 AM ET 09.10 | Despite Kiehl Frazier's struggles, Auburn coach Gene Chizik says he's sticking with the quarterback -- for now. "He's our quarterback," Chizik declared Sunday. Frazier is 24-of-49 passing for 319 yards with one touchdown pass and four interceptions in Auburn's 0-2 start. ... Chizik said there was no discussion Saturday to replace Frazier with backup Clint Moseley. "That doesn't mean down the road if we think that that's something that we need to consider, we will. Last night, he had to get through a tough time. He's our quarterback," Chizik said. Chizik did make a change last year when he replaced starter Barrett Trotter with Moseley. Moseley has been dealing with shoulder problems since the spring this time.

Thin ice? No way. SEC schools don't play in freezing weather.

MISS ST looked really good though.

What the hell is this article about??? SEC schools don't need a QB, they all have a good to great defense.

Clint Moseley before the season: "If I was playing in MLB, I'd be on IR." He's not ready to come back. They are stuck with Frazier or starting a true freshman named Jonathan Wallace, whom they have raved about, but then I haven't heard anything else about.

Didn't a lot of people say Frazier looks a lot like Cam Newton?

A.J. McCarron #3 in QB efficiency. Doesn't throw a lot but when he does, he does it pretty well.

Not all of the SEC can give up 29 points to Syracuse, but maybe that's the kind of football people like? :)

Actually A.J. McCarron is a very good QB and we all know that 12 PAC teams don't have great defenses, just good to average!!!

JK, I thought he was better than he was allowed to show last year. From what I've seen, (and I've only seen the TSUN game and last week's highlights) it looks the play calling is allowing his skills to be shown more. Is that so?

Somewhat. I obviously am not sitting in on game plan meetings, but I think they are trying out a lot of new stuff.

I could say some things that none of you know or care about like our passes to the H Back/TE are down, but that could just be that they are working on other things and trying to perfect other type of plays. The TE/H Back pass we have down pretty well.

He has held on to the ball more than he did last year, which is a concern, because he is getting sacked more. (It seems like to me, I could be wrong).

Thanks. It just looks like the kid has a lot of talent that can be developed.

I was glad that Tyler Russell looked good. The secondary appears to be good, but I think the Tennessee game is going to be the first real test for the MSU defense. Hopefully Mullen can keep these guys on their toes. He can point to the Arky game as example of what can happen.

LOL. His stats look a lot like Ash's and everyone thinks our QB su<ks.

The Ole Mess people are excited about the UTx game. I think they are looking forward more to the tailgating than the actual game.
