Payton rode coattails to get his ring. Stockton stayed loyal to his franchise and almost made it to the promised land twice. There's no pride in scavenging a ring.

A ring is a ring...and its not like he was Juwan Howard in Miami. He played MOST 4th qtrs and was still a valuable member of that team. He earned that ring as much as Posey, Haslem and the other role players on that squad
