08:22 AM ET 09.11 | Entering Week 3, Florida is a banged-up lot. [The Gators] will be without star linebacker Jelani Jenkins, who suffered a broken thumb and had surgery on Monday, and starting cornerback Cody Riggs, who suffered a small fracture in his foot but will not have surgery, for Saturday's 6 p.m. game against Tennessee. ... [Will Muschamp] said Ronald Powell, still trying to come back from a knee injury suffered in the spring, has developed some swelling during rehab and is being re-evaluated. Muschamp said Powell, ranked the nation's No. 1 recruit out of high school in 2010, will likely redshirt instead of trying to return this fall. "It certainly has put a speed bump in the recovery progress," Muschamp said. "We're disappointed for him and us."

Jenkins is a big time blow but his back up Morrison is a stud. Riggs is not that big of a deal because UF is super deep at CB.

Sucks for Powell.

Wouldn't it be better if you guys had injuries on the offensive side? That way you'd get some different guys in there. However, it did look like you guys had receivers open a lot vs the aggies. Don't think the QB saw them. But, I could only see the field from the television and that may not have been the case.

It would be really bad if there are injuries on the offensive side. UF is thin at WR and RB.
