08:04 AM ET 09.12 | Saying, "I think we're capable of being better," Mike Tomlin is trying to sort out his running back rotation. Jonathan Dwyer has had nothing but success with a football in his hands at Georgia Tech, with the Steelers in the preseason, in his few chances last season and in the first game of 2012. Sunday at Heinz Field against the New York Jets, he will get even more opportunities. "I thought Jonathan Dwyer provided a spark play and represented himself well and will probably get an increased opportunity because of it," coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday. Dwyer ran nine times for 43 yards, a 4.8-yard average per carry and one touchdown that was overruled by replay in the 31-19 loss in Denver.

Can't wait for the Rex Ryan press conference after they lose 45-3 to the Steelers on Sunday.

"Our team has to be better prepared, better conditioned and they have to execute better. I've ordered 10 cases of averG for the flight home, and they're going to drink every 16-ounce, environmentally-friendly recyclable bottle."

<laughs at thought of 53 guys, mostly over 300 pounders, having to squeeze their big butts into those tiny airplane bathrooms to relieve the bladder pressure caused by all that averG>

Hopefully Jonathon can stay healthy this year. I thought he had shown clearly what he could do last year, unfortunately he only played the first 4 games

He looked really good against the Broncos, but you have to remember that it was the Bronco's run defense. They are doing a better job plugging up the middle, but didn't seem to react well if the runner bounced it to the outside. The Jets are going to be a tougher group to run on.

Not by the the Pittsburgh secondary. If the Jets QBs can get the ball past the line of scrimmage so Polamalu and Company can pick it off.

He's looked good several times great change of pace back. Hey remember that while Redman didn't have such a good outing on Sunday he ran all over the Broncos last year. The rbs I'm not so worried about it's that being down to the last 5 olinemen (again) which is scarily reminiscent of the last few years
