Pressure on Evans to play for a contract

Here's the problem: he's not nearly as good as D-Rose and KD.

Have an idea:

All players should have contract years EVERY year.
This way, as fans, we get to see better games.

The Kings are just a terribly run/managed franchise. That is the biggest reason for this guy's shortcomings. They don't have much talent and the talent they do have, just doesn't fit together. That's not Evans fault.

With that said, he isn't a number one guy; he could be a number 3 guy on a contender.

How about playing for the contract that you're already being paid?
