Weis less than impressed by Crist

08:13 AM ET 09.12 | On Monday night after his weekly radio show, Charlie Weis dropped by for an unscheduled meeting with Dayne Crist, where the pair talked about the team's strengths. The Jayhawks know they can run the ball, at least against the caliber of competition they have faced so far. They have two talented running backs in Tony Pierson and Taylor Cox, and they will gain a third when James Sims returns from suspension after this week. ... Weis doesn't need a high-flying passing game, but he wants efficiency from his offense when Crist drops back to pass. The Jayhawks haven't gotten it so far, with Crist completing 33 of 64 passes (52 percent) with two touchdowns and three interceptions through two games. "I wouldn't say I'm very happy with the passing game right now," Weis said. "To say that might be an understatement on my part."

I am so happy that Jabba the Weis is not the UF OC.

Funny how Kansas had a top 25 program under Mangino with a bowl game each year and some recognition. And Kansas fired the fat man because he was too tough on his babies. Kansas deserves nothing but losses.

Choking your players is crossing the line.

Yeah, everyone knows you put them in a shed when they misbehave instead of choking them.

Then you get fired for putting them in a shed too!

Why is it that Charlie still wears a 40' belt on the last notch??? Its time to face the facts Charlie, you are way, way past a 40'!

I was gonna correct you, then I saw you had specified a 40' belt, not a 40" one. OK, that sounds about right.

QUOTE(#18):

A good choke is a good motivator as Mangino won.

But, you have to stop right before they stop breathing.
