Tebow one-and-done in New York?

08:04 AM ET 09.13 | The mania may be over before it even starts. [How] long can he possibly be satisfied as an afterthought in the Jets' offense after taking just nine snaps in the ineffective Wildcat -- it was more like the Pussycat offense -- in the opener against the Bills? He ran five times for just 11 yards and didn't attempt one pass. He won't make a stink during the season, but if Mark Sanchez doesn't provide an opening to play, then I think Tebow is one-and-done as a Jet. I believe he endorsed the trade to the Jets rather than his hometown Jaguars because he felt he would have a better opportunity to get on the field as a quarterback. Sanchez was vulnerable, but he has responded to the pressure put on by Tebow.

"...the ineffective Wildcat -- it was more like the Pussycat offense". Pure hilarity. They are so clever at that paper.

It was a week one match-up with the Bills. Let's wait until NY plays a team that matters.

It seems like Sanchez always rises to the occasion when someone threatens his job... but as soon as they aren't a threat he starts to suck again. To keep Mr. Mark good, perhaps you need to keep Teebs as a constant threat.

It's week one. The story shouldn't be Tebow at all. The story should be that Mark Sanchez actually had a good game. I don't expect that trend to continue, but it's a story nevertheless.

Nope. The Steelers will be all over that nonsense. The matchup with the Bills was the Jets' last preseason game.

Yeah, I could see where Tebow felt that the Jags were better set at QB than the Jets (eyes roll)

The man needs a cougar more than a wildcat. Teach him a thing or two.

Let's see New York-Jacksonvile? New York - Jacksonville? Money-Boondocks? Money Boondocks?
Do you think he cared about Who the quarterback was? Commericals or Church? Going To Fine Resturants or Hot Dogs?

Except for the plot, the characters, the place, and Tebow, this has all the markings of a Greek tragedy.

But Jacksonville has the potential of a move to LA.
And when you come out of the locker room and on to the field at The Meadowlands, you say "Ah, it smells like Elizabeth."
