Incognito finds it hard to hide from 'dirty' label

08:08 AM ET 09.13 | Considering few others seemed to take the chance, Richie Incognito came to his own defense Wednesday, the same day a Texans blog attempted to offer evidence of the kind of play that led Antonio Smith to call Incognito "a dirty player." After practice Wednesday, Incognito took out his iPad and went through the play several times, defending his actions. He said he was trying to prevent Smith from recovering the fumble, and then protecting himself when Smith began kicking him. "The ball is out, I grabbed his legs to keep him from getting up, and right there, he's kicking me in the arm and kicking me in the head, so then I go into my turtle shell," Incognito said while playing and replaying the video.
