James taking his talents away from CAA

08:09 AM ET 09.13 | For his next decision, it appears Miami Heat forward LeBron James will strike out on his own. The Sports Business Journal reports that James and childhood friend Rich Paul will leave Hollywood talent agency Creative Artists Agency, with Paul taking over James' representation from CAA agent Leon Rose. Paul worked as an agent for CAA and his clients included Cleveland Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson and Charlotte Bobcats rookie forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, among others. ESPN.com has confirmed the switch and reports that there are "no hard feelings" between James and Rose. Yahoo Sports reports that Paul will operate under the name "Klutch Sports Group."

There was another player that did this same thing a few years ago, or was it James that did it when he entered the league. Helping out a childhood friend could be costly, it takes someone who understands the language not just a face representating a famous athelete, don't sell yourself short.

Here's Apples opinon.........LeBron shut up a lotta cats on this site, myself included, and he did in it a way such as performance, humbleness, class (finally) and quietly, so I say Lebron you've earned the right to do whatever you want. Iam rootin for you in your peoples skills/development department. More power to you bro. None of us really should be asking more from the guy..............I think he's learn a lesson in life skills!

I think it's a sign of dissociative identity disorder -- the multiple personalities start addressing each other formally. Bob Dole had a bad case of it.
