08:12 AM ET 09.14 | J.R. Smith said Thursday he wishes the season were "starting tomorrow," and it seems he'd be happy to have Tracy McGrady join him. "Definitely," Smith told The Post when asked if McGrady could help the Knicks after Yahoo! Sports reported Thursday McGrady has worked out for the team. "T-Mac has always been an elite player in this league. We need all the help we can get in every area. ... So whenever a big name comes up that can help our team, we've got to get him." Smith, who was attending a charity event [Thursday] night in Brooklyn hosted by Houston Rocket and Brooklyn native Gary Forbes, said he recently has been one of several players at the Knicks' practice facility in Westchester.

T-Mac has been broken for years. He's merely a shell of what he once was.

Making a return to the big apple. I remember when he injured his back while playing in Orlando, attempting to monster a dunk that could have been layed up.

QUOTE(#5):

Didn't he play for you guys already? Apple would love this. Another Melo-lite will be added to the team...lol

I don't think Apple loves anything. He's an angry, angry person.
