[Said Samson:] "It's hard to build a team. There's a quality a winning team has. It's hard to put your fingers on what it takes to achieve that. I'm confident we'll keep trying. That I know for sure. We're going to play with pieces of this team. But I still believe we have makings of a good team." ... MLB.com: Why did you feel like it was time to get Hanley Ramirez out of here? Samson: We just realized we couldn't win with him. It was that simple. MLB.com: Was there any particular reason? Samson: Hah. I could write a book.

He is an average player, I dont know what is the big deal. he is full of drama thats for sure. I think it was a good move by the FO.rebuild this offseason for the next season, you will be just fine. look at TB and the O's, let it be an example, and big contracts are a huge problem on any franchise. overpaid them, is telling them to under perform.

That is the truth. Hanley can be a part of a winning team. You just can't let Hanley run the team, which is why I thought they hired "The Great" Ozzie Guillen to run this team. What a complete and total gas bag Guillen is, comparable to the level of gas bag that David Samson is. Clowns all.

Good point. I think it is more a case of too many changes in too short a time span, and it will be next year before we can sort out who is contributing and who isn't.

Is it just me or does it appear that the Marlins aren't winning without Hanley too? Come to think of it, his new team doesn't seem to be winning much since they acquired him either. Hanley must be the cooler or something. Add him to the roster and never win again.

the dodgers has to be more than ashame team, best team tag paid as a franchise and can't win a decent games against the under 500 teams, padres,houston,colorado,san luis, the wreckeness pirates, the brewers, wonder where is the respect for the game? the new dodgers owners have to be more than confuse!!!
