Michael Vick: Critics 'don't know anything about' passing

09:30 AM ET 09.15 | Michael Vick says he's motivated by what's being said about him in the media after a four-interception performance in his team's 17-16 Week 1 victory against the Cleveland Browns. "I've always dealt with the things surrounding being a quarterback in the NFL and all the scrutiny," Vick tells USA TODAY Sports. "It's a part of it. And if it don't drive you and motivate you, I don't know what else could. It's all just talk. It's all speculation. It's everybody saying what they don't know anything about." Critiques of Vick's game were numerous and diverse following the narrow victory.

I had no idea you had to be a former player to know a 4 interception game is bad. Guess all those that have watched the NFL all our lives are too dumb to ever really undetstand the game. Thanks for clearing that up for us Mr. Vick! NOT!!!!!

Despite the Vegas odds, in the Battle of the Birds, I would think that a real world gambler would consider the Ravens prohibitive favorites. Their performance should right the betting book or, to quoth the Ravens, "nevermore."
