Why Ray Lewis worked off weight

08:26 AM ET 09.16 | Once upon a time, Ray Lewis came into the league as an "undersized" linebacker at about 235 pounds. Then he changed his body, bulking up to about 250 pounds for a good stretch of time. Last year, he got up 260. He was very stout at that weight, but Lewis struggled a bit in coverage and on nickel downs. Unlike a lot of star veterans, the Ravens linebacker is not delusional about his game. He saw the flaws on tape, and thought losing weight would help. Little known fact: he also got his body fat percentage down to five percent -- unheard of for a man his size. The early returns, including his play against the Bengals, have been outstanding.

Ravens should win by double digits if they play up to par. They looked fantastic last week. That being said, I expect the eagles to play a better game. If the eagles want to go far this year, they will quit letting a QB who has always had questionable accuracy throw 50+ times a game and let their young stud McCoy take the brunt of those carries.

I've always been a night owl myself, have a hard time going to bed before 2 am on any night. Got to get up today for some early drinking though to prep for panther game around lunch

go panthers. Yea, i'm hoping we pull it out with some good offense and some good defense. I know our running game has to be better then last week. Between the panthers and saints, the panthers are the ones that can least afford to start off 0-2... especially 0-2 in the division. The saints can come back from an 0-2 start go fight for a playoff spot, the panthers on the other hand can't afford to go 0-2. I hope for a good game, with no injuries.

Yea, i just believe the saints have a more believable chance of coming back from 0-2 vs my carolina panthers. If my panthers start off 0-2, it's extremely unlikely they can come back to steal a wild card especially since they'd be 0-2 in their division. If the saints go 0-2, it'd be tough to rebound but they have a better chance at it then carolina. GO PANTHERS

I've always hated the saints since they are a division rival for many years, but that bounty crap was in poor taste. Dude telling steve smith he had to hit him low and late or he'd be fined? I love how half their players have confessed, they have coaches suspended, and some players are still denying any wrong doing. I don't hope for injuries to any player or team, but if steve smith were to bodyslam and whoop the snot out of one of the saints for the 2nd year in a row i'm sure it'd be appreciated at the stadium.
