Millen should have been canned years ago. The guy is simply in WAYYYYYYYYY over his head...too many hits to the head in SF I'd guess. Why he's been babied all these years as a GM is beyond me. Joe just told it like it is!

A monkey could do a better job than Millen. Theismann could not. The Lions are destined to continue to fail if Millen is allowed to participate in the upcoming draft or interview any potential free agents. Is there anyone out there who honestly doesn't believe that he or she could have done a better job than this man? I know that I couldn't have done any worse. What is really sad about the Millen saga is the fact that not only has he been exposed as a know-nothing, he has also been exposed as a coward. Big talk when he smashed his way into town. He simply hides now.

Everyone knows this except for the Ford's. Can anyone name a good Lions quarterback? Seriously, if Scott Mitchell, Eric Kramer, and John Kitna are the best you can come up with in the last 20 years, then I think we might know what the problem is. I know we have other problems, but I would at least love to fail with a big name.....and Joey Harrington doesn't count. If I had the money, I could put a huge billboard on the side of a building, but I don't think the Lions would draft me.....or would they?

Like Shynloo's style! Dead on man; what a ridiculous hire in the first place and even more ridiculous the man is still there. Goes to prove most ex-jocks don't make good GMs let alone good coaches.

Millen has done a lot of dumb things, but there are a few random "misfires" in his brain that have actually played out. Ernie Sims, Roy Williams, and to a greater or lesser degree Kevin Jones. Now, that said, Millen should have been fired long ago. Mariucci... is not the style of coach that fits D-Town. Neither, sadly, is Martz. The Lions need a huge overhaul, especially in regards to the O Line (left side in particular) and the cornerback/safety department. Fix the O Line, Kitna (or Stanton or Orvlosky or O'Sullivan) don't end up on their backs so often, and Jones (or Bell or Duckett) can break out for some yardage. Tatum did well in Denver due to the line and not so much his skill. Shore up the secondary and maybe the D-Line can have time to get in for the pass rush. My two cents. Peace.
