I did. Otis did as well. Most of the rest of our group have a visceral hatred for Bettman that borders on irrational sometimes. I don't like him either, but I like dislike the Fehrer way more.

Bettman said the last CBA was TO FAIR for the players. Fehr might not be great, but his CBA proposals are about the betterment of the game. Bettman is just asking for more money from the players.
This is what Bettman is not only known to do, but his third time doing it. Yes Fehr has some blame, and some of his requests are silly (3-4 yr deal). But this rests squarely on not the PA, but the OWNERS (with the dwarf just being their spokesman).

What does Bettman do to deserve $8 million per year?!?!?! He should be paid no more than $500,000 per year, and that is conservative.

What on earth does he do to deserve $500k?? The fact that he gets 8 mil to be the most hated commish in all of sports just shows how disconnected the owners are from the fans. I sincerely hope this lockout comes with serious payback for the league. It will be a lot of work to earn me back but I suspect you won't even try as you will think, like lemmings to the sea, the fans will be back anyway.

Face it this CBA for the owners is all about the haves not wanting to give to the have nots anymore than they already do and the have-nots can't survive with the floor where it's going it's hard to say that they want a partnership with the players when they can't even have one between themselves.
