08:05 AM ET 09.17 | A chippy game included Ravens cornerback Cary Williams and Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson exchanging punches during a brief scuffle on Sunday. Offensive guard Marshal Yanda and Eagles defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins were both called for offsetting personal fouls in the first quarter after All-Pro fullback Vonta Leach's 5-yard touchdown run, his first as a Raven. Then Leach got into a confrontation with Eagles safety Kurt Coleman. "They take a couple of shots, that's just how they're coached," said Leach, who scored his first touchdown as a Raven on a 5-yard run. "They play dirty. They take shots after the play, a lot of dirty stuff after plays. We weren't going to back down. We weren't going to take that."

Need some cheese with that whine ?

Seriously though, the replacement reffs have peaked. They can't control these football games, and as the season progresses, it will only get worse.

I don't disagree with Flacco's comments after the game although he will probably find a bill in his locker this morning. There is no integrity of the game with these grocery baggers working them.

That what happens when someone pushes back.

Out of the calls they make, they miss another 5.

I watched this game and it was chippy but everytime they called a personal foul there was an offsetting one so it was just a sign from the refs to continue being chippy.

I hear that between your game and the Saints/Panthers game the officials were flat awful.

As a Giants diehard I hate to say it.............The Eagles are playing some football winning 1pt games and not having the media and the rest of you sayin how they under achieve and such. You guys are now cryin for the Ravens, "give me a break....geez! The Eagles are winning and I for one as a Giants diehard, quite frankly, am lookin forward to our meeting with these cats and unlike most of you's, I won't be makin excuses no matter what the outcome. Give the Eagles faithful their due props on the success of their team although its early. They nevertheless deserve their props.

OBTW........a lotta you's was questioning whether or not Vick can QB as strangely as that seemed. Did he answer your question yesterday.......oh, I thought so! and thats coming from a Giants diehard!

Otis my friend, every team is playing with the same type caliber refs and as such, their is no marked advantage for any team. We just have to live with it until they reach an agreement. In a nutshell, thats reall the deal!

I have to agree, the officiating yesterday really blew. They need a scapegoat though and I think Goodell would be a great one. Blame the whole thing on him, bring back the real Zebra's and play football.

I've been waiting for the weekend where the league would have to make up their minds to "negotiate"...

This weekend may have been it.

There's been talk that the refs are actually favoring "home" teams because of the crowds booing their calls against their teams.

Yeah, until I see what another QB does under center I wouldnt be so quick to compliment Vick on 2 and 0 start, I think the rest of the Eagles might have helped him a bit with that...

Was listening on the radio. Some of the calls and noncalls were bizzare to say the least.
