08:10 AM ET 09.17 | As if Jeremy Lin needed any more fans of his story. On Sunday, Rockets forward Chandler Parsons tweeted, "Glad all that @NBA money didn't change him @JLin7." with a screenshot from his cell phone. This is that screenshot: "Sorry to bug u but u think i could crash on ur couch tmrw night until my furniture comes in?" This text is so polite. This text is so about Jeremy Lin's ability to sleep on couches. This text is perfect. Lin confirmed the request with a retweet and another question: "So answer the question...can i? Haha." !!! Jeremy Lin signed a $25-million contract with Houston this offseason, but boy is he as Jeremy Lin as ever. Here's hoping the furniture Lin's waiting for is to outfit an entire La-Z-Boy Sofa Wing for his new digs. He's earned it.

Houston probably won't do very well this season, but Jeremy Lin will do just fine.

QUOTE(#4):

The kid is frugal so don't hate him for that unlike some players who just keep wasting their money until it's gone.

Frugal....ok I suppose its a waste of money to go to a hotel for a night. Or maybe its silly to order your furniture in a timely manner. I dont "hate" the dude I just feel like he should take care of his business and maybe quit bumming sleepovers on other folks couch. Who the hell wants to sleep on someones couch anyway.

Houston get ready........this is "Jeremy Love Pt. 2" only a coupla thousand miles away and thank goodness for that. While you're talking with your mommy, now here comes the drama, talkin bout Jeremy doin this and Jeremy doin that, all the while teammates are hollerin "Jeremy we gotcha back. While it won't be long, before teammates see'em on the floor and say "this is a sad **** song"!

Wow; why all the hate? It was just a rhetorical question anyway. Chandler Parsons has a million dollar contract too. I doubt that he has a 1 bedroom apartment somewhere. Smart money says Lin won't have to sleep on a couch. He'd just rather hang out with his new buddy, as opposed to being in a Holiday Inn.

He's just trying to find a nice, cheap, comfortable place to land once his bubble bursts & his career fades to black
