On Sunday, Rockets forward Chandler Parsons tweeted, "Glad all that @NBA money didn't change him @JLin7." with a screenshot from his cell phone. This is that screenshot: "Sorry to bug u but u think i could crash on ur couch tmrw night until my furniture comes in?" This text is so polite. This text is so about Jeremy Lin's ability to sleep on couches. This text is perfect. Lin confirmed the request with a retweet and another question: "So answer the question...can i? Haha." !!! Jeremy Lin signed a $25-million contract with Houston this offseason, but boy is he as Jeremy Lin as ever. Here's hoping the furniture Lin's waiting for is to outfit an entire La-Z-Boy Sofa Wing for his new digs. He's earned it.

Wow; why all the hate? It was just a rhetorical question anyway. Chandler Parsons has a million dollar contract too. I doubt that he has a 1 bedroom apartment somewhere. Smart money says Lin won't have to sleep on a couch. He'd just rather hang out with his new buddy, as opposed to being in a Holiday Inn.
