Crennel is to Blame for Poor Chiefs Start

12:47 PM ET 09.17 | The Kansas City Chiefs got embarrassed for the second straight week, this time at the hands of the Buffalo Bills. The players are under-performing and the blame for that has to land on head coach Romeo Crennel. The Chiefs looked unprepared Sunday and Crennel was out-coached. The lopsided defeats the Chiefs have endured over the last two years were just as much Crennel's fault as they were former head coach Todd Haley's. Now that Haley is gone and Crennel is both the head coach and defensive coordinator, it appears as though he may not have been the right man for the job in Kansas City.

Hm, if it was a lack of talent, you might think the GM1 is to blame. If I'm the GM I'm going to vote for the head coach not motivating players.

If I'm the owner... I'm hitting reset.

Who the h ll is "Arrowhead Addict" and why does her/his "column" match even the wretched standards of "T&R"? "Now that Haley is gone and Crennel is both the head coach and defensive coordinator, ***it appears as though he may not have been*** the right man for the job in Kansas City" is no journalistic gem, nor is it better than the worst speculation on the thread. Hey, fellas in charge, how about a little more discretion as to what trash you put up here, eh? Thanks.

Sorry, the author was/is "Nicholas Alan Clayton" who sounds like a six year old in the article, which by the way is entitled "What if Crennel is the Problem"?

One T&R has Pioli overmatched and another T&R is blaming Crennel.....that is a bad bad omen for Chief fans......hey Bobby Bouche is their water boy though:)

Romeo needs to shed one of his jobs. If he wants to be the head man then find a guy to run the defense. KC is not the most talented team in the world. a lot of players that have yet to develop into the stars the had the potential to be. One thing about the good organizations in the NFL is that they set a course and stick with it. Change usually means a step back for young teams. Right now the Chiefs are a waste of fans.
