Suh concedes 'a lot of mistakes'

08:06 AM ET 09.20 | Joe Staley took a shot at the Lions D-line after San Francisco-Detroit, and, while he wasn't necessarily agreeing, Ndamukong Suh did criticize his own game Wednesday. As for [Staley's] line being overrated, Suh said, "People are going to say what they want to say. Especially, I mean, you get a win, feel like you can talk. Great for you. That doesn't really mean [expletive] to me." Suh has 2 1/2 sacks through two games this year but said he's off to a "very average start." Last year, Suh had a similar start, with two sacks in the first three games, but he got just two more the rest of the year. "To me, if anything, I'm at where I'm supposed to be, or below," Suh said. "There's still things (I can do better). A lot of mistakes. ... So there's still a lot of growth left."

Detroit is more disappointing, because they have a lot of talent but thus far this season they've done nothing with it.
KC? How can we be disappointed in a team with low expectations? They're a team with nowhere to go but up, and yet they go nowhere.

Ur right as far as maybe fan expectation but I read a lot of national guys who predicted they would be a threat for the wild card....not to mention all the crap Romeo talked this summer about how would be division champs

With only two games played? A bit harsh.
Worse than say, the Cowboys? The same Cowboys that got beat by a team led by Frodo Baggins' cousin?

Well, both teams are now 1-1. The Cowboys beat last year's Superbowl champs, (and how I hate to say this) the Giants. The Lions, on the other hand, barely beat last year's winners of the 1st overall pick in the draft, the Rams.
The Lions were pre-season picks for a playoff berth, while the Cowboys were generally regarded as a mid-level team, at best.
So, I'd give the "disappointing" nod to Detroit, at this point. But, there are still 15 weeks to go.
