Rams' Jackson iffy for Sunday

08:02 AM ET 09.21 | We found out Thursday that he's in great shape to spar with Robert Griffin III via the media, but Rams running back Steven Jackson isn't at full football strength. [Jackson] missed practice for the second day in a row Thursday because of a groin injury, but he's still holding out hope he can play Sunday in Chicago. "I'm not 100 percent, but I'm day-to-day," Jackson said. "The injury is not as significant as we once thought it was, and we're just going to go from there. I still have another three days before the game. So each and every day buys me time." Not unlike his quad injury that occurred on a 47-yard touchdown run to start the 2011 season against Philadelphia, Jackson suffered the groin pull Sunday in the open field.

When you see him sprinting down the sidelines and then suddenly pull up and step out of bounds, you'll know he came back to soon. Not if, when.

Fantasy footballers who were stupid enough to draft this older, injury prone RB.

But he could be great! He could have a 2000 yard season! It could be a career year!
That's why they call it "fantasy."

Was I just paged?
I'm not proud of it. It was the fourth round. There was no one else! It was college! Everyone was experimenting with drafting him! It's not my fault!

I just assume Jackson's groin tears every morning when he gets up at this point. Much as I hate to say it, once his contract is up, I do think thats it for Jackson on the Rams. Someone will pick him up, but by then he'll be little more than a change of pace back good for maybe 10 carries a game.

Wont make a difference against that Bears defense anyway. Might as well rest. Nasty defense theyve got this year!

Don't feel bad, we all make mistakes. Besides it could be much worse, you could be a Raiders or Jets fan.
