08:06 AM ET 09.21 | Though he's the face -- and the very expensive leader -- of the worst rushing team in the NFL, Chris Johnson doesn't see himself as part of the problem. He has 21 yards on 19 carries. "I'm never perfect. Even when I went for 2,000 (yards), I wasn't thinking I was perfect," Johnson said Thursday. "But I wouldn't sit here and say I'm to blame." Not to blame at all? "I wouldn't think so, but I'm not the guy to sit here and be the guy that points fingers," Johnson said. "It's a situation where I'm only going to be as good as my line is going to be, so we have to work together and get better together. I don't think I missed no big plays or anything like that."

He hasn't been running away from anything else.

That's is full of more double negatives than most of his rushes.

Did he say that with a straight face?

His grillz were showing... Hmmm, I don't know.

Let's just agree to disagree, Chris.

Notice in the heading they don't use the 'CJ2K' anymore.

That's because it's Cromartie and T.O. that have runaway Johnsons.

You guys are quick to jump on CJ as though all the years of leading or nealy leading the league in rushing don't count. I also remember all the reluctance to criticize Jeff Fisher and keeping him on a peddle stoole. Look at the Fabulous job he's doing now (smuck). The Titans have been finished for a while now so accepte it, and OBTW, they were finished when Fisher was there.

This criticism of CJ oh so much reminds me of the same that was done to the New York Giants, Eli, and Coughlin.......and on second thought, the early and often criticism of the New York Giants this year with all the so called doom they're present schedule means for them. Question: How's that workin out for ya at this point? Shssssssss, I don't need to answer that question. It's already being answered by the GMEN.

Lastly, I would be more worried about the washed up Pats and the grossly overrated Steelers with they're doom fastly approaching. Yeah, those same Pats who my Giants have dissed on a regular when it mattered most. Yeah those same Steelers whom their Nation refused to recognized that they've only won two SB since the seventies. I guess I may as well count the NFL Championships of the 60, 50, oh well you get the picture. My point to the whole story is .......just maybe CJ isn't washed up and maybe just maybe you guys are jumping the gun too early!

"All those years" being 2009 through 2009.

RE: comment 13. Loved the Giants game last night. Nice to see Barden have such a good game. He was a last round pick and has been a project for a long time. Good to see the investment pay off. Same with Brown.
As for CJ, there may be an issue with conditioning. He started slow after his hold out, and last year, too after the lockout. Same problem: wasn't exploding into the hole and couldn't get past the line of scrimmage.

Unless I've missed something, the Rams are 1-1 under Jeff Fisher. Fixing the Rams is going to take more than one season and at least they're showing up to play this season (Unlike the Titans and your boy CJ). Additionally, you spelled pedestal as "peddle stoole", reallly??? Nice spelling SMUCK!!!
