08:13 AM ET 09.21 | The Angels of Industry? Angels officials have had preliminary talks about moving the Major League Baseball franchise from Anaheim to Industry, according to a source with close ties to Industry City Hall. The team's lease at Angel Stadium in Anaheim is up in 2016, and the Angels at that time would either have to renew their agreement until 2029 or move to a new home. Angels owner Arte Moreno has said in the past that he would need to know this year or next whether he should stay in Anaheim or move the team. While officials at Majestic Realty Co. are still working hard to bring a National Football League team to Industry, they are open to building a baseball stadium instead, according to the source.

This is just another story about a greedy owner who wants to hold up the city he is in or if he doesn't get his way he threatens to move his franchise.

At least they won't have to worry about carrying a 2012 pennant over there if they do move...

They should move to Salinas and build a Steinbeck Stadium. That would be cool.

I miss the Freiri of the beginning of the season. Angels bullpen are the kings of giving up the HR ball.

After perusing your quotes, I have come to the conclusion that you have nothing to offer short of bitterness and homerism.

You gonna pay up on those two $1,000 bets you're about to lose?

I wonder, when China got the contract to make baseballs for the MLB, did they shrink the size like they did with all the cloths and shoes ?
