08:15 AM ET 09.21 | That the Diamondbacks might consider shopping star right fielder Justin Upton is less a question than what Arizona might get for him. The Diamondbacks have listened to Upton trade proposals on two separate occasions in the past two years, and the industry fully expects them to do so again during the off-season. ... While onlookers agree that Upton's value isn't what it was this time a year ago, when he was on his way to 31 home runs in a season played mostly as a 23-year-old, they say the Diamondbacks still could get a very good return, for a variety of reasons. ... "This season does diminish his value," a National League club executive said. "But there are going to be plenty of teams needing somebody like him. Somebody is going to ante up."

wiseup: The times I have seen the D-Backs Upton Has not been all that impressive. He has not shown any power and does not deliver in clutch situations with bat. Some team like pittsburg or cubs might be interested. Maybe a team that has holes in outfield. Most teams will not pay a lot to trade for upton, or give him a big contract.
