Sedin twins, Modo a matter of time

08:24 AM ET 09.21 | Markus Naslund, GM of winless Modo, could certainly use the help of Henrik and Daniel Sedin these days. But Naslund knows that isn't going to happen. Not now anyway. ... [The] Swedish Elite League has taken the rather controversial stand that locked-out NHLers cannot play in the league as rental players and instead must sign for the entire season. The Sedins both think that rule could soon be changed, but the fact remains that Daniel and Henrik aren't interested in joining Modo until they are convinced the NHL season is lost. ... [The Sedins] are well aware of the team's early struggles and injury problems. "But they are leading today 5-3 so I am happy," Daniel said Thursday. ... "I am following it. They could be my teammates."

I imagine all the guys who were gonna have their first or 2nd NHL seasons this year are real glad all you multi millionaire vets are standing beside them on the picket lines. What a joke the NHLPA is . Today instead of getting a realistic offer together they are gathering in Edmonton to meet with the labor Board.Get serious !!!

Agree with you Harry it is a wasted trip.
If the owners weren't so stupid and the players a little more understanding the season would start on time.

Sweden's initial position on rental players was the one bright spot I saw in all this.
