09:39 AM ET 09.22 | One player at the Predators' informal lockout practice Thursday looked slightly different from the rest of the group. While most wore NHL-style gear with pants and helmets that had the Predators logo, this player wore blue-white-and-black socks. His pants had a giant black-and-red logo. Former Predators forward J.P. Dumont had decided to take part in the lockout skates with his former teammates at A-Game Sportsplex. Dumont, 34, who played five years with the Predators and averaged 68 points per season over a three-year stretch, lost his role in 2010-11. The Predators bought out the remainder of his contract, and Dumont played 2011-12 with Bern of the Swiss League. He still hopes to latch on with an NHL team when the lockout ends.
