11:18 AM ET 09.23 | Ricci Roberts, the longtime caddie for Ernie Els, has been in and out of the hospital for the past two weeks with an undiagnosed leg injury. "I spoke to him the other day," Els told GolfChannel.com on Saturday. "It's actually good news. There are a couple of arteries in his calf that are a little bit blocked. He hasn't gotten the deep vein thrombosis as they originally thought. They figure that the pain in his leg could be coming from his back, so that could actually be good news." After caddying in the BMW Championship, Roberts returned to England to receive tests on his ailment. Els said he will receive more tests there on Tuesday. Kevin Bogrette, a friend of Els, is caddying for him in this week's Tour Championship.

Everytine I come in here to look at the stories on this site, there is nothing relating to the tournaments played the previous weekend. Is this site ONLY for stories pertaining to golf but NOT the tournmaments themselves??? We had a FED EX champion crowned, several tournaments going on and the Ryder Cup coming up next weekend. What's with this site. I keep saying I won't come back but I do from time to time hoping that they've improved this site... It still sucks.

Agree with both of you. I now look in only due to Stranger's work on the contests.

I like to come back and see how remotely the story selected is connected to what's actually happening in golf. Ryder Cup on the horizon and the story is about a minor injury to a caddie's leg. You have to admit, it can't be easy to locate such a ridiculously meaningless story.

Thanks for the support.

In a Ryder Cup update, Davis Love III asked for the course to play without the thick, heavy rough we've seen before when they had recent majors there. Love also gets to dictate how long each hole will play and where the pins will go on the greens.

You should still submit a guess for the Ryder Cup. You still have a couple of days to go.
