08:04 AM ET 09.24 | Though the Texans don't get a whole lot of national attention, Matt Schaub may have his signature regular-season moment. The blood clung to his left ear just where his helmet ripped off a piece of it as [Schaub] spoke at the podium following the Texans' 31-25 win over the Denver Broncos. "I felt fine," the Texans' quarterback said nonchalantly. "You know, I just lost a little piece of my ear." The gash happened in the third quarter when Broncos linebacker Joe Mays leveled Schaub after he threw the ball, incurring a late-hit penalty. The team doctor did not see concussion symptoms -- the only issue was his bleeding ear. So Schaub left the game for one play, put his helmet back on and returned to play.

Exactly what did you see in those two plays to suggest bench clearin? I certainly didn't see it. I thought the Texans were a tough team after last year's display. They are takin a backseat in toughness if you ask me if they start this cryin. This was more on the officiating in those plays than actual fouls. Good hard football IMO...plain and simple!
