Kansas State's Heisman candidate

08:25 AM ET 09.24 | Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein completed a modest 13 passes on 21 attempts this past weekend, to the tune of 149 yards, but he also ran for another 79 yards and was again the key to a K-State win. The Wildcats' victory this weekend was huge considering they were blown out by the Sooners at home last fall. No player from Kansas State has ever won the Heisman Trophy, but perhaps no player is as important to his team's success as the 6-5, 226-pound senior, who is completing 70 percent of his passes and has 10 total touchdowns this fall. With USC's Matt Barkley taking a temporary back seat in the race after the Trojans' loss to Stanford, who else could be in the mix?

KSU would have to go undefeated. Can't see them beating WVU, TCU, Texas, and OkSU.

He's doing as well as any other candidate out there.

TCU, Texas and Okie Lite will be no problem, but the new King of the B12 WVA will be.

Did you see WVa against that powerhouse Maryland team Saturday?

Colin Klein won't win the Big 12 much less the Heisman.

Does anyone get more out of their team than Bill Snyder?

Not any more than Snyder but Petersen and Patterson get a lot out of talent the others didn't want.

He's a very good coach, as many have mentioned before. No telling what he could do at a big time budget school.
