Butch Davis rumored to be tied to Arkansas

01:56 AM ET 09.26 | Bill King of 247 Sports Radio on Sirius XM caused a stir among Arkansas Razorback fans on Tuesday, when he announced on air that he had inside information regarding the Hogs' head coaching search. With three months remaining before a new head coach would normally be announced, the unofficial announcement according to King is that Butch Davis could be the new Boss Hog. Davis, a graduate of the University of Arkansas, has a rocky past that includes current NCAA sanctions at North Carolina, but would it matter to athletic director Jeff Long?

I think WPS said one of the big Arky donors went to school with Butch.

Somehow, I find it interesting that Butch Davis enjoys being tied (up) to Arkansas. Did Petrino enjoy being tied up, too? I guess the girlfriend knows that answer.
