07:56 AM ET 09.26 | The Bears, thin at running back, brought in two more for a look on Tuesday, one of whom has since signed with Washington. Running backs Ryan Grant and Jacob Hester were present along with guard Rishaw Johnson and wide receiver Raymond Radway, according to a source. The Bears worked out running backs Steve Slaton and DuJuan Harris last Tuesday so that means they have looked at four backs in eight days. ... Bears running back Matt Forte missed Sunday's 23-6 victory over the Rams with a sprained right ankle. Coach Lovie Smith said the team is "hopeful" Forte will return to practice this week and be available for Monday's game at Dallas. But [Jason La Canfora] reported Forte is likely to miss one more week.

The same ole story every year.....running back/player holds out and then signs contract and here comes the injury. Da Bears management and ownership are putzs and brought this on themselves. The shoulda never handle the Forte situation in the manner inwhich they did. They cause this and I don't feel sorry for their **** at all. Next time get it right and signed the player.....wipes!

Wonder what search engine they're using?

The only guy who showed up on BLING was Chris Johnson.

Forte was mad and insulted that they signed bush and now he see's why they were so reluctant to give him that fat contract...

Not sure any running back will thrive if Tice keeps pounding them up the middle only to run in to a wall. Kinda reminds me of the Dick Jauron glory days.

The Jauron hiring was the "crown jewel" in the Mike McCaskey regime. I'm so happy MCaskey is gone.

Of course, what they refuse to do is look for offensive line help. Too late now!

I sometimes think it is the draft price structure; if you draft an O-lineman high, you have to pay him more than teams think they are worth. But if you wait, someone else gets the good ones. Maybe teams need to revise their estimates of how much a good O-lineman is worth. "Ha-Ha, we saved 500,000 on our LT--oops there goes our million dollar QBs knee."

Bears searching for RB/QB/O-Line/CB/Coaching/GM help

Fixed.

September 26, 2012  03:38 PM ET

Vince Young is available and could play RB / Wildcat. Also, Jamarcus Russel could play on the O-Line

September 26, 2012  04:46 PM ET

Another unproductive Hester on the roster is the last thing the Bears need right now

Imagine....2 Hesters returning kicks?? Oh wait, nevermind
