Rodgers blasts NFL for tarnishing game

07:59 AM ET 09.26 | This wasn't exactly T.J. Lang's tweet, but it wasn't T.J. Lang, either -- it was NFL MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers showed up Tuesday afternoon for his weekly radio show on ESPN Milwaukee with something he wanted to get off his chest. "First of all, I have to do something that the NFL is not going to do, and I have to apologize to the fans," Rodgers said to start the show. "Our sport is generated, the multi-billion dollar machine is generated by people coming to watch us play. And the product that is on the field is not being complemented by an appropriate set of officials." ... "[The] game is being tarnished by an NFL who obviously cares more about saving a little money than having the integrity of the game diminish a little bit."

And to think........You had all these "pro owners guys" on this site during the players lockout. Whatta a reversal........it just blows you away that the posters have flip, cause the owners sure haven't . You know it was a lousy call at the end of the game but it's not like it was the only one. You can turn on that game at random and find incredibly bad miscalls. Has got to be time for the owners to piss on fire and call in the dogs
