08:00 AM ET 09.26 | Jason Terry made more than a few new fans in Boston on Tuesday, talking tough about two of the Celtics' chief rivals. [Doc Rivers] knew exactly who to put on speed dial once NBA free agency began, and as Terry said, "When Doc calls, you answer." The conversation probably went something like this: Your mission, Jason, should you choose to accept it, involves the recovery of a stagnant offense. "My mission is to kill, whoever that is, whether it's the Heat or whether it's the Lakers -- hopefully both," said the 35-year-old Terry, "but that's my mission, and that's what I'm here to do." In 13 NBA seasons, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Terry has averaged 16.1 points while shooting 44.8 percent from the field.

He will deliver. The guy is clutch. He can create his own shot unlike Ray who relies a lot more from multiple screens now.

How does the Jet create his own shot? He doesn't beat anyone off the dribble, doesn't post up. He is pretty much just a spot up shooter who occasionally pulls up for jumpers on fast breaks.

But Ray has bad wheels and he will probably get less playing time with the Heat than he did with the Celtics...........

Then again.......that may help him.....

Good morning...the Curator is IN.

"Jet" is a good player, but "killing" the Heat and the Lakers is gonna be a whole lot more difficult than he thinks. The Celtics just don't have the personnel to do that. They won't be able to handle the Lakers since they now have Howard and Nash; they couldn't handle the Lakers with Bynum, Gasol, and Odom, so adding Howard and Nash just pushed the Lakers well past the re-furbished Celtics. As for the Heat, they can't run with them. Jet is NOT a defensive player; who could he guard? Wade? Not....James? Pleeeeaaassseee....Ray? Maybe...just don't see his team doing all that well against either one of those teams, but like they say, "that's why we play the game..."
