Sixers gushing over Bynum

09:14 AM ET 09.26 | Andrew Bynum is the new toy the 76ers can't wait to play with. Tuesday at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, new Sixers swingman Dorell Wright couldn't contain himself when asked about Bynum and how he would help both his game and the team as a whole. ... [Said Wright:] "He's going to need two defenders to stop him. I would say that he's the best big man in the NBA right now, hands down. He's a guy who can give you baskets, and executes with his back to the basket; a guy who makes free throws at 7 feet tall. So you just have to respect the fact that guys have to double him and we have guys around the perimeter who can knock down open shots, and you have to get out there to us. I'm really looking forward to playing with him."

I believe the Lakers will regret this move/trade, Howard my be the number one (1) center in the league now, but I believe Bynum will far exceed Howard in about a season. Not playing under the shadow of Kobe and Gasol will definitely produce a more all around Bynum. I liked his improvements while in LA and I believe he will only get better with more responsibilities and also knowing that the success of the 76ers ride on his shoulders will only help to enhance his focus. I believe Bynum will take control of his opportunity in Philadelphia.

until he limps off the court , or starts acting like a child . there is no veteran leadership
in phily to keep this chump in check. I truly believe they will regret acquiring Bynum.

Still too bad science has not found a way to deliver maturity in IV form. When they do, Bynum will be an MVP. Until then...

good for him. Most of us laker fans have been saying for years he was maybe the most talented big man in the game today, but whether it was due to injury or immaturity he just never quite put it together. I hope for the best for young bynum, his potential is sky high if he wants to achieve it.
