The Lakers are indeed in trouble if Kwame Brown is now their starting pivot. Expect a dropoff in wins and for Kobe to once again try to do it all and fail.

I hope this ends the Lakers surprising run. If they are going to count on Kwame or Mihm down low to patrol the paint they are in trouble. This is all great news to me being a die hard blazer fan. Alright I'm still upset about the 4th quarter 13 point meltdown.

So much for a sensational season. Bynum's injury prolly will put a huge hurdle to his development, and usually when young centers go down with injuries, they rarely recover to full strength. Tough Luck; I feel for the guy;

Okay let me slap myself silly and get over it. Bottom line 6-8 seed going into playoffs is not that bad. I hope we get either Suns Utah or Blazers (which is a laughable matter in itself) Let see if we got some B-a-l-ls. I know we cannot beat Detroit and few other good teams especially on back to back nights but even if we go lightly better then 500 we will be in playoffs and hopefully with healty Drew we might sneak up on few teams. Lamar will have to step it up and start getting his 20 ppg and 12 rpg that he's capable of. Kobe will start scoring 30-35 ppg. Kwame Brown better play some damn good defense and block a lot of shots, because he's definitely not going to contribute on the offensive end. We have one of the hardest stretches of the season coming up, too. If we could go .500 while he's out, we'll still be in an okay spot.

One good thing out of this: Turiaf will get more playing time, hopefully resulting in mote pt for him once Bynum is back.

Now these type of victories will come in handy come March and April.

too bad for the lakers...they're on winning streak....they must win today against seattle, the succeeding scheds are tough...goodluck to them...hopefully kwame can give a decent game, we're not asking much for him, rebounds and defense is all we want for him to do....and hope kobe will not "do it all"...he still must trust his teammate..hope lamar get his game now, he needed to be consistent without young andrew..GO LAKERS!
