01:06 AM ET 09.28 | The game-winning touchdown came from Ravens cornerback Cary Williams intercepted Weeden and scampered 63-yards to put the Ravens up 23-10. For the Baltimore offense, Flacco led the way with 356 yards passing on 28-of-46 passing. Flacco tossed one touchdown and ran for another. He also threw for an interception of his own. The Browns didn't have many bright spots on offense but rookie running back Trent Richardson and kicker Phil Dawson led the way for Cleveland. Richardson racked up 104 total yards and a touchdown. Dawson kept the game close with two long field goals - 50 yards and 52 yards - to bring the game within a score. In the end, Cleveland's comeback fell just short and the Ravens hang on for the win.

1st!

Weeden had a chance to at least tie it up on the last play of the game but throw way out of the end zone.

So only 28 of his 46 passes were actually passes?

Well, it is Joe Flacco. So I guess that makes sense.

I think that was the only time I ever pulled for the Browns to win and they let me down.

End the Weeden experiment.

September 28, 2012  07:56 AM ET

Not a Weeden fan, but to be fair, he's experiencing the same problems McCoy had. The offensive line was... Well.. Offensive. He took a beating and his receivers dropped some balls.

What else are they going to do? The McCoy Experiment has already demonstrated a null result.

Perhaps they can draft another QB next year, that will fix it

They're right on track. First team to 0-4.

September 28, 2012  08:42 AM ET

brownz probably would've won/tied if their qb didn't throw a pick-6 ...!

The Saints will probably follow....should they get rid of Brees too?

Right on. This was a decent outing by Weeden who looked defenseless behind a porous line. The drops killed. Confidence isn't built in a young quarterback with lousy WRs. Shore up the O-line, get some decent receivers, Browns are competitive.

I hope the Pats fall to 1-3 this weekend!

Obviously you didn't watch the game and you're a Colt homer!

If you watched the game you would have seen what sets Weeden apart from Colt. He stepped up into the pocket many times to complete passes and didn't have "happy feet" when making his reads. Colt doesn't want to stay in the pocket or step up into protection, instead he decides to roll out and make plays with his legs which usually results in negative results.

Also, look at Weeden's arm and the throws he made yesterday. "IF" he had a receiver who could bring down a pass that game was the Browns for the taking.

You hit the nail on the head! The Browns need help on the O line and they desperately need a WR who can catch the ball!!!

I am not saying this is the answer but when you look at all the receivers the Browns have on their roster, why would signing Plaxico for a 1 year contract be such a bad thing? I am not saying he is the answer and would be a long term solution but he can still get separation and is a very good target in the red zone.

Expert?

Biggest problem last night was GREG LITTLE and NORWOOD dropping ALL THOSE BALLS!! At least 9 between them. If you get two hands on the ball and come up empty, that is a drop in my book regardless of how the NFL officially stats drops. The Browns should show Little how Braylon Edwards career is going these days. I would give Little his walking papers if he has one more game with more than ONE drop. Then they should put Norwood on notice that he is next if he continues. Pathetic playing on both their parts and they crippled their team.

Finally, someone REALLY needs to tell Little "Don't celebrate and get all cocky cause you caught ONE pass for a first down after you dropped man others killing drives." Hate the way he celebrates every little catch he makes...but then I guess he has to feel good when he actually catches one.

many others, killing drives (wish SI had an edit button)
