Rock on Giants D no lock for Sunday

08:03 AM ET 09.28 | Depth in the defensive backfield is an issue for the Giants as they prepare for Philadelphia. The starting left cornerback has a broken right hand, which makes grabbing hold and tackling somewhat of an issue. The player who has started at right cornerback has a bad hamstring and probably won't play and his replacement has a sprinkling of NFL experience but has never before started a game. ... To make a sticky situation more uncomfortable, Antrel Rolle, the rock at the safety position, is dealing with a sore left knee as a result of a collision with a camera in Carolina and he could not declare himself a go for Sunday night's clash with the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

Does that mean his completion percentage goes down because the Giants have a "replacement" backfield?

Da Giants always have defensive backfield issues, the line has to step up and their problem will be resolved, nothing new!

No, but they will have to put an asterisk next to his numbers. After all, you don't want to jeopardize the integrity of the game.

Hosley is the big loss . He is a player. Webster hasn't been near a receiver yet this year. Ah well, If Vick cannot torch that bunch of cast off CBs , then he needs to reconsider his career options. Prince is made of glass, the Vegas line on him finishing a game is 7/2 against.

Apparently you've never seen the fill ins

But we also don't know whether the Eagles will show up. They squeeked by Cleveland, and then beat the Ravens. Stomped by Arizona.

If I were a betting man, I wouldn't touch this game.

The big unknown is what team will the Eagles field.
