08:12 AM ET 09.28 | Charles Barkley sees big things happening in New York this season -- in Brooklyn. The TNT analyst and Hall Of Famer dubbed the Brooklyn Nets "the best team in New York," and predicts another frustrating year for the Carmelo Anthony-Amar'e Stoudemire experiment. "It's not going to work, and it's not going to click," Barkley said of the All-Star pairing. "I'm not a believer that a leopard can change its spots." The Knicks are 30-33 in the regular season when Stoudemire and Anthony are healthy and on the floor together. In the postseason, New York is 1-7 when they're together (Stoudemire missed Game 3 of last season's series with the Heat after he tore his hand open punching a fire extinguisher case).

Barkley is absolutely right, but Brick fans would rather kill the messenger than accept the truth.

QUOTE(#2):

if it don't work this year, I wonder who goes first? Probably Amare b/c of his non insured contract... Man, look out the New Yorkers in here absolutely hate it when there's a bad thread about the Knicks... I'll be sure to duck if Knick fan swings.....

Well we probably would get mad if the comment was from anyone asides from fatty Charles or toothpick Miller, both perrenial losers and last I check they, they both have the exact same amount of rings Melo & Stat have, only with zero chance of ever gettin one. Charles is so ignorant he doesn't recognize that his so called friends ignore his stupid ****. Yeah, you know the ones he's always sucking up to but never return his dumb **** calls. Yeah that would be Mike & Tiger. I remember that imbicile durin the Woods crisis "Tiger, Tiger," " I'm here fa ya man" "just pick up the phone and call". The other analysts "Charles have you spoken to Tiger?" Charles, " I call'em man, he'an pick up da phone ma' an, he'an pick up da phone ma' an"...........moron!

Tiger was igging his dumb ****!

how are the warriors? lol

About the same as the Bricks. The difference is that I'm not expecting anything. You're expecting a deep run into the playoffs.

Shame on Knicks for doing such a dump the Knick shouldn't had trade it for Carmelo. Now they will pay the price. First they will get eliminated in the first round and probably via sweep and Second they will be overshadow by the Nets.

Can you imagine..........all of two comments and one of your fist two is to dis the Knicks........great introduction of yourself to us here on this site, or, are we to believe you've come be in a second or third person?

QUOTE(#3):

Yuup, they haven't clicked together yet and they already had 2 seasons together. It's a good thing Jeremy Love helped a little w/ the Knicks success...Maybe JKidd can help them gel together. JKidd is the key but it depends if the stars will listen to him. JKidd could be the problem also if he can't stay on the floor. I wonder if he was getting himself in shape or was too busy partying.

Good point about Kidd. He is a guy that can help get these two working together. Also, coaching changes had a lot to do with the record.

The relationship between Amare and Melo and the Knicks overall performance will be much better than what Barkley is predicting.

Wow! Barkley is joining forces with LTCF and trolling Knick threads. Does he like the ice cream/sherbert in Cleveland, too?
