08:29 AM ET 09.28 | Big man Dustin Byfuglien has big dreams, too. Although he's not consumed by the pursuit of individual awards, [Byfuglien] would like to work his way into the Norris Trophy discussion one day. "You think about it," Byfuglien said on Tuesday afternoon at St. Louis Park Rec Center. "It's always been a thought that it would be nice to win, but it's not something I push to do. I go out there, I do my job and I just have fun with the boys." The Winnipeg Jets defenceman was tied for second in scoring among NHL blue-liners last season with 53 points in 66 games, but understands he needs to continue to work on his play away from the puck. ... Byfuglien's skill-set is respected by opponents as well. "He's got great hockey sense," said [Zach Parise].

The closest he'll get to "The Norris" will be "The Chuck."

Hey Jack it's time for another facelift

If he wants to win the Norris, he should forget playing solid defense and just accumulate the most points. Zdeno Chara has been the best defensemen in each of the past three seasons but he lost out to defensemen that had more points.

Maybe for Boston. He won the Norris one year I'm thinking. He's good, no doubt but he lost out because others were better. He's been traded and moved around alot, why I don't know.

You know how after you win the Cup and your team is introduced as the Stanley Cup Champions, this poor guy never even had a chance to skate as one of them.
