03:17 PM ET 09.28 | The Minnesota Twins have mercifully ended their experiment with Japanese infielder Tsuyoshi Nishioka, releasing him in just his second year with the team. But it???s not the fact that the Twins have cut Nishioka that is news worthy, it's the fact that Nishioka has given the Twins back the money they owe him as an apology for his poor play.

While I have agree that the move had to be made, I will definitely give Nishioka credit for realizing his own culpability and the class with which he made his exit. I wish him good luck in his future endeavors.
